Nick began his career in construction at the early age of 16, working weekends and summers on projects throughout Southern California. With over 50 years of experience in the industry, Nick has been integral in the construction of several residential communities including Spy Glass Hill in Newport Beach, Park Huntington in Huntington Beach and apartment projects throughout Riverside and Orange Counties. Nick obtained his B-1 General Contractor’s License in 1974, became Vice President of Orange Coast Construction in 1980 and established Clayton, Clayton, and Company in 1981 with his late father, Earl E. Clayton.
With a solid background in construction, Nick naturally evolved into the role of developer. He has developed multiple sites throughout Southern California, with joint ventures between property owners and investment groups. Many of the properties that Nick has worked on over the years are the assets that currently make up the portfolio which is Clayton, Clayton, and Company.
Nick currently resides in North Tustin with his wife of 48 years, Nora. They love vacationing in Palm Desert, Puerto Vallarta and Miami and spending time entertaining at home with family and friends. They have 3 granddaughters, Charlotte, Olivia and Teresa.
Marcie started her career in the early 1980’s with Linkletter Properties in Costa Mesa. Linkletter Self Storage was known as a pioneer of the self-storage industry and it was here where she developed her skills in managing properties throughout the Southern California region.
In 1989 Marcie joined the Clayton Companies as regional property manager. She is responsible for the overall management of assets within Clayton’s portfolio including the self-storage facility in Garden Grove, the Newport Beach Office buildings, the industrial buildings in Santa Ana and several residential properties throughout Orange and Riverside Counties. She is also responsible for lease compliance, permitting and government relationships of the wireless communication sites. In addition to her extensive knowledge of property management, she also has an acute detail for accounting and employee relations.
Marcie currently resides in Brea with her husband, Rick. They love spending time visiting and playing cards with family and friends and are proud grandparents to their grandson, Kole.
Natalie began working for the family business at the age of 18, working as an Office Manager at Bayside Executive Suites. After graduating from LMU, she began studying to obtain her CA Real Estate License while working at Nelson Shelton Real Estate in Beverly Hills. In 2005, she took her knowledge of residential real estate and applied it to the investment and commercial sector, working with private investors on transactions throughout Southern California. Natalie returned school and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from the Interior Designer’s Institute in 2009. Shortly thereafter, Natalie established the Clayton Design Group and has worked as the in-house designer on all tenant improvements and property remodels within Clayton, Clayton & Company while also taking on freelance jobs when time permitted. Her design projects include various residential and commercial remodels in Palm Desert, Riverside and Orange Counties, an upscale clothing boutique in Portland, Oregon, and most recently, the complete renovation of a dermatology office in Orange, CA. Natalie currently assists Marcie with the oversight of all properties managed within the Clayton Company’s portfolio. She handles all the marketing and design decisions and is an avid networker with the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce and CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women). Natalie was married in 2010 and currently lives in North Tustin with her husband, Ryan, and two daughters, Olivia and Teresa. As a family, they have enjoy taking trips to Palm Desert, Maui and “glamping” in Santa Barbara.
Megan Webb brings to the Clayton Companies a wealth of knowledge in the Real Estate and Property Management business. Before joining The Clayton Companies, Megan worked for Sperry Commercial as a property manager, managing over 350,000 sq ft of Class A Office, Retail, and Industrial Flex Real Estate. Her responsibilities ranged from tenant and landlord improvements to overall construction and property maintenance. Megan also has experience managing residential properties where her responsibilities included rent collection, bookkeeping, project development, oversight and dealing directly with any issues pertaining to the lessee and condition of leased premises. With this experience, Megan is able to work efficiently and effectively with Brokers, managers, tenants and property owners.
Megan earned a tennis scholarship to Cal State Fullerton and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Health Science. She holds a Certification in Property Management from the State of California, a Certificate in Construction Management from UCLA and a Real Estate license from the California Department of Real Estate.
Megan was recently married and lives in Orange Park Acres, Calif. with her husband David. She loves horses and is an accomplished rider in the National Cutting Horse Association. David and Megan love spending time with their families and enjoy many outdoor activities. One of their favorite outdoor activities is taking their Jeep off roading to Big Bear and Pismo Beach.
